The movie is full of lies and falsehoods. He only uses 20 years of weather data and he is not qualified to talk about the weather since he is a politician. Al Gore is not a weatherman, meteorologist or scientist. A warmer planet actually means reduced strength of storms for example because there's not enough of a temperature difference to really whip things up. And other storms like hurricanes undergo windshear in warmer climates which reduces the severity of a storm.
And of course, his infamous carbon credits. There is no clearinghouse for carbon credits, they go to Al gore and private investors. The whole idea behind paying carbon credits is disguised as an extra tax for going about our daily activities.
Yet, Al Gore's way of life and those of Hollywood who tell us how to live are not doing the same. Even President George Bush's house in Texas is greener than Al. Bush uses captured rain water so he doesn't waste fresh water. Weird, eh?
Just rent the movie, it's much more entertaining!
