    Small executable, no need to install. delete after use, you can't update it so it will be no good tomorrow.

    Combofix is a program written by subs & used by malware experts.

    First the expert will run a few programs; like HJT, then look at the logs to see if Combofix is the right tool to run.

    Unless your an expert or know how to read logs & use Combofix then you should not use it.

    I've seen more than one PC crash from running Combofix, when they should not of run it.

    Combofix does not remove all things.

    There are a few programs out there which can stop Combofix working.

    this is a bootable cd with Kaspersky well-known anti-virus. It will update itself upon boot and scan your entire hard drive without having to boot in windows first.

    This is very efficient, I use it all the time on my client's infected PCs
