   Safe Mode isn't meant for day to day usage. No real harm will be caused by running in Safe Mode but you are restricted in what you can do because a minimum of drivers is loaded. Your first boot after Safe Mode tends to be slower but subsequent boots should be normal. If they aren't then there is something wrong.
   
   Go into the Device Manage and see if there are yellow flags next to any of the devices and also see if there are any conflicts.
   
   If you see yellow flags, I would delete the device and let Windows re-install the drivers. Do this one at a time if you see multiple yellow flags to be dealt with. If this doesn't solve your problems go to the Start Button and right click on Computer and click on Manage. Then click on Event Viewer and then Custom Views. It will take a while to load so be patient. When it is loaded you will see a listing that probably has a number of errors. Click on each error and see what the description of the error is in the window below the listing. There is also a link to click on to see a more detailed description of the error and possibly a solution.
