    Hi Chris, I was having the same problem with Emerald so I went to their support website and saw this:

    If you are getting the following error:

    create process failed; code 14001
    This application has failed to start because the application configuration is oncorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.

    Download and install this package from Microsoft.

    You should then be able to successfully run GreenLife Emerald.

    Scroll to the bottom of the page and there is a link to click on to download a package from Microsoft that fixes the problem like a charm. You'll love Emerald!

    You cna diable it by

    Open your Emerald secondlife viewer>>>>>Click EDIT on the top of your screen>>>Clcik PREFERENCES from that drop down menu>>>>Click the emerald TAB, the last tab on preferences>>>>>click MISC>>>>>Uncheck "enable LSL client bridge" and thats it should be disabled,

    i dont know what it does that why i disabled it on my viewer,
