Questions about Guitar Metronome:

  1. Hey buddies i am using headphones for practicing guitar . 2011-03-05 09:16:35

Hmmm... Perhaps you could plug your guitar into your PC's sound card? Sound cards usually have an input and an output. Here's a good online metronome that uses real drum sounds that won't drive you mad like that click noise most metronomes have: http://www.fuzzymonkeytabs.com/metronome/metronome.html

  1. How much BPM are regular guitar solos and how do you messure bpm? 2011-10-27 11:46:13

BPM simply stands for "beats per minute". So if your metronome to 150, then it will click 150 times in a minute.

There is no "regular guitar solo tempo". However a common benchmark for speed is 12 notes per second, which is 16th notes at 160bpm or sextuplets at 120.

  1. I need help staying on tempo!? 2008-08-25 18:30:36

First of all, you can't be a "Talented musician" if you can't keep tempo. No offence.

It's not something you can learn, it just sort of comes naturally. Keep listening to the songs or just keep practicing. Not much else you can do.
