yes you should go. costa rica is beautiful.. ive only been once for about a week but the area i visited (western coast.. flamingo, tamarindo, etc) was gorgeous. we did the rainforest canopy tour in arenal where you fly through the canopy on a series of zip lines (zip line tours in costa rica are pretty popular, you should check one out) arenal is the most active volcano in central america (i think) and you can catch ash and lava coming off of it. san jose, the capital, had great night life and partying. highly recommended
My best guess it's an informal good-bye expression. Пока. Written poka, pronounced pah-kAh - with 2nd sill. stressed. Means "see you", or simply "later". Can be doubled: пока-пока, which emphasizes its informality, makes it closer to childish ta-ta.
By nature it's an adverb (of time) meaning "still" or "yet". Пока не уехал - he's still here, he had not left yet. In farewell expressions it's widely used with additions like Ну or До скорого. Noo, pah-kah - "well, see you". Pah-kah, doh skOrovah - "later, see you soon".
Once again, it's an informal expression. Addressing the boss or less known people one should use Vsego dobrogo/khoroshego ("wish you all the best") or well-known Do svidaniya. :)
