Help me with a PC game download from a torrent? 2010-07-30 14:34:04
Assuming you've installed WinRAR onto your PC, you just need to go back to the place where all the winrar files are from the game you donwloaded. Then you would right-click and select the option to "extract files" and then just click on "ok." The program will do its thing and a new folder will be created in the same place where the winrar files are. Double-click to open the folder and you should see a file known as an ISO file. If you plan on burning this onto a CD or DVD, all you need to do is open your CD/DVD burning software and follow the process to burn it onto a disk.
If you plan on running it straight from your PC, there's other software you'll need to have before I can guide you on how to do it. But you should be good to go with just WinRAR and your burning software if you plan on burning.
Ok, you need to download a tool called 'Daemon Tools' (which you'll find in my sources), then you'll need to install DTools and then right click it when it's in your task tray, at the bottom near your clock. Then open the Virtual CD/DVD-ROM > menu, then the "mount image" submenu
Then select WAC disk 1 and click ok. Then act as if the WAC disk was actually in your disk drive and install the game.
- As a side note, please be aware that using BitTorrent is currently illegal, and getting caught can land you with a big fine, and if you're caught three times you can either suffer capped internet speeds and even have your internet taken away from you. - Be Warned.
