    Yes, dear lady. It's telling you that you haven't installed the scanning application that was on the CD when you purchased the multi-function device ... that's why it can't retrieve the scan applications.

    Are you able to put your hands on the CD? If not, enter the operating system on your computer into the dropdown box on the following page. I'll tell you now though that it's quite a big download.
