   Pros: Originally I downloaded this program because I was thinking about upgrading my memory and wanted to see how much RAM my system was using. FreeRAM XP Pro is the perfect tool for monitoring your computer's RAM usage.
   
   After using the program I decided to go to 1GB of RAM and I thought that I wouldn't need the program anymore. I was wrong.
   
   I started downloading and playing some memory intense games which worked great with the new memory but when I was done playing, I noticed a slight lag when opening my other programs. I guess the games weren't releasing the data from memory when they were done because when I opened FreeRAM XP Pro, it showed me that over 90% of my RAM was being used. When it freed the RAM, 45% of my RAM became available.
   
   I did some experimenting and found that after playing games and running some memory consuming applications, my RAM usage was definitely up there even with the 1GB of memory. When I'm not playing games I usually have well over 500MG of RAM available to me.
   
   Freeing the RAM does slow down my system so I've changed the settings so that I'm prompted when my memory gets too low, instead of letting it do it on it's own. That way it's not freeing RAM while your busy doing something.
   
   I'm using Firefox 2 and I haven't had any problems with it and if you decide to uninstall it you can do it from within the program.
