The best live action movie is Battle Royale. The best Dorama is the TV sitcom, "Densha Otoko." (Train Man)
Manga I am reading? Well, I just finished re-reading Aishiteruze Baby in English, and Azumanga Daioh in Japanese. I love 'em both. Over the past few months, I have also bought and read a complete set (so far) of Ah! My Goddess, in English.

Well I've only ever seen one anime on that list, ha-ha..
But it was a good one! Gantz. It was actually quite amazing; you should watch it if you like gore and action.
Other than that.. I've heard Air Gear and Black Butler were pretty good too.. and Full Metal Panic..
As to your Darker than Black question, I'm pretty sure the first season was English dubbed, and the second is supposed to come out sometime this year. *That's just what I've heard*.
