    You need adobe flash player. Its required to watch any video on web. Because all vidoes require flash player. Check task manager if another browser is running background or any other program that is using adobe flash player. Try to close their process and then try again.

    About a month ago, I started using Chrome and chat disappeared. Like PA above, I've tried several times to reinstall the plug-in. The installation process always seems to work properly, it states that the installation has finished and the browser needs to restart.

    I may have found it in another forum. I have Win7 64-bit running Chrome and was having an issues with video. it worked in chrome/other browsers. The solution I found was to do the following -

    1. Go into your gmail account
    2. Click Labs (top of screen)
    3. Enable Video chat enhancements

    You can test it by going into settings, clicking on the 'Chat' tab, and clicking 'Verify your settings'

    Works flawlessly for me now.
