    100Mbps is your network speed, not your Internet speed. This is why it is stating 'Connection Speed: 100Mbps' while connected to your router.

    Your TRUE 'Mbps' Internet connection speed is determined by your Internet provider. If you're downloading at an average of 700kbps then your Internet connection speed is roughly 5Mbps (megaBITS, not megaBYTES). 1 Megabit = 1/8 megabyte. This is likely a cable Internet connection or low-to-mid level FiOS connection.

    Basically, your Internet connection is clocking in at 5Mbps and a 700kbps download means you're getting pretty dang good speeds from the connection.

    A 403 error usually means that you're trying to acces an empty directory and file indexing is turned off at the server.

    After what happened to Megaupload it could be the owners of Megashare have decided to clean house or whoever owns the directories and files you're trying to access have voluntarily decided to remove the files.

    I'm not sure if Megaupload and Megashare are owned by the same people. Megaupload and Megavideo are both registered in Hong Kong and both now have FBI notices on their homepage. Megashare uses a different registrar but the actual registered owners details are hidden.
