Lg Bd300 Firmware Download
-
I have the BD-P2500, and it works okay, great picture on Blu-ray although it has a few annoyances. For example, DVD menu content is sometimes pixelated, and it refuses to do some functions when paused: you have to press play, then press the button, for example. It also reverts to 720p resolution when you play a normal DVD, and it's a pain to switch it back to 1080p. I'm replacing it for that reason.
I thought my wife would enjoy the Netflix feature, but it does not work well with our internet connection speed (1.5Mbps). You need at least 2.5Mbps.
Sorry, don't have experience with the LG or 1590. I'm planning to upgrade to the Oppo BDP-83, but that's outside your price range.
You've picked out two really nice players.
For a list of bestseller Blue Ray players on Amazon, you can go here and read the reviews:

But personally, for the two you've chosen, I'd choose the Samsung because it has quality Dolby audio, a good amount of storage room, great stream output, and has less compatibility issues than the LG Blue Ray Player does.
