    Odd. Based from the adapter information it seems to be using an old / compatible driver for windows just to make the display work.

    When you say you've downloaded the drivers, is this via Windows Update? If yes, try downloading the drivers from Nvidia.com directly http://www.geforce.com/Drivers, install, and restart and try again.

    That's on the assumption that your computer is still really an Nvidia based one.

    Disconnect your webcam
    Uninstall the current software
    Restart your computer
    Download software
    Upload to your computer

    After filling in your cam details and OS when visiting Microsoft Support - note the 'Readme' link - It contains all sorts of useful information including any additional software you may need.
