    Get both programs up on the screen minimize them to you can see both .. then drag the songs from limewire to itunes and thay should convert hope that helps

    i don't know much about limewire but file sharing programs all the same. so,

    1. be sure if you are connected some high traffic hosts.
    2. be sure your modem's ports are open (64xx usually, limewire should say that somewhere)
    3. be sure nothing blocking limewire (firewall, data execution prevention thingy, some virus program)

    or maybe you are trying to resume an already started download and it is just there's no online people with that exact same file so you are waiting ?
