  1. Where Can I Find This Music Sheet For Violins? 2010-06-01 21:42:02

If it is not available as a legal, purchaseable sheet music (single sheet/book) or as a legal, purchaseable digital download, then it is not (yet) available at all. As simple as that. All sorts of fan-made transcripts, tutorials and scans of copyrighted music such as this are equally illegal.

  1. The Love Song of J. 2010-06-09 22:12:14

Thanks for posting this beautiful poem. It's been a favorite of mine for many long years. As to what it's about, the previous poster nailed it pretty well, I think. Every reader brings an individual life experience to the poem, and tends to see it in terms of that life experience. I think when Eliot wrote this he was reflecting on an era where conformity was taking a severe toll on sincere meaning...leaving the individual frustrated because of a failure to express, or a failure to understand, life's most sincere emotions.

    Hope that helps.

Imagine, if you will, what Eliot must think, in the next life, as he looks back to the Earth he knew which now remembers him primarily as the librettist for "Cats..the Musical." No, maybe better not to imagine that.

  1. Has anyone read the poem The Love song of J Alfred Prufrock by T. 2010-10-25 09:55:35

The poet reflects on the hopeless waste of time in just living an ordinary dull life. He is weary of everything and feels his life is a sham. Time is endless and in that time momentous things can occur but in his world time is measured by polite calling cards requesting him to engage in yet another useless afternoon tea party.
