    i know what you mean. i never really manage to open those. but it's been a long time since i've tried. why don't you right click it and open it with notepad?

    This means that they are not valid NFO files.

    If you are seeing these files when they are in with a "collection" of other files, and you are wanting to open the NFO to learn more...... then may I suggest opening them with wordpad. Because it is common practice to save a TXT file as NFO to get around certain things.

    because the torrent isn't yours to change....the name is part of the torrents "info" that is created at the time the torrent is created, if you change the name, then you change the whole file therefore the seeds
    are no longer associated with the torrent
