Because the website asks "hey what are you?" and the phone kernel says back "I'm a linux", and the website says "oh hey, I should redirect you tot he Linux download page"
At that point there should be a link on the page that says download other versions, and let you download the installer for windows or mac or whatever.

You won't be able to use it without the slot 2 expansion and msn won't work on it. Just use a homebrew msn program

For god's sake man, that phone is so old that I the time it was made it was only supposed to support WAP, not full web access. What exactly do you hope to get from that old phone?
It is also kind of unlikely that anyone would still offer software for that old phone. Still, since you want to use the web, why don't you learn to use it? Opera's web site is at http://www.opera.com and you can learn about the phone on Nokia's web site (see http://europe.nokia.com/support/product-support/nokia-6670 ). Now go to Opera's site and look for their browser version for S60 2nd Edition Feature Pack 1
Should you find it (unlikely) install it, you can always uninstall it if you don't like it.
Only download the file from Opera's web site, or Nokia. Avoid any other web sites as your phone is subject to virus attacks.
