I think you may be a bit obsessed with her.
Try to get on with your life and not think about her all the time. It will help stop your paranoia.
Work on yourself - your friendships, your self esteem, your interests. I have a feeling you dont like yourself much. Write down all your good qualities. Be honest. Start to accept yourself for who you are. This will help you with your paranoia as well.
Pray that you will not be paranoid but that you will trust that life is going to turn out good for you.

an RPG isn't really a board game in the way you're thinking. In battles and in towns there may be times when the person running the game puts down a board to represent the town or the forest where you're fighting so you know what is where and to give you an idea of what there is to do in town, but otherwise you are all basically telling a collective story that you're all adding to as it goes along.
A Table Top (or Pencil and Paper)RPG is a completely different style of game than a board game. All you need are the rule books, but those rules books have a ton of rules, some of them you'll never need, but they've been explained and written in case anyone needs to know what to do in those situations.
I haven't played Paranoia, but it does look like a fun game. I'm more familiar with Dungeons and Dragons and a Wild West/Horror game called "Deadlands" which had steam driven robots and zombies and magicians casting spells with poker hands.
In any Table Top RPG you need at least the Player's Handbook and GM's Handbook to play. These are also known as the World Books and give you all the information that you need to play the game you've chosen. There are also usually a bunch of Source Books that you can get that give more rules for different character classes. So, in D&D there will be a Wizard Book with a large number of spells and powers the Wizard can use. In the Deadlands book "The Book 'O The Dead" you get all the stuff that the zombie cowboys "The Harrowed" can do and all the benefits and drawbacks from playing one. Paranoia has a number of source books about cities as well as the character classes.
If you go to your local comic book or Friendly Local Board Game Store they will be able to help explain better and may even be able to explain how to play Paranoia and what some of the books are.
