   Edit: So, you usually have it narrowed down to the year and simply need to loop through the workbooks until you find a match for the client code and extract the related contact code? If you don't have it narrowed down the the exact year, do you have narrowed down to a range of years, like 2008-2010, 2009-2011, etc?

   Regardless of whether you use a database program (Access) or Excel, if the data is in 1000 databases or 1000 spreadsheets, you still have to loop through all of them and act on the data found.
   
   So, since you are 'stuck' with Excel, a couple of questions:
   
   Are all the spreadsheets in the same file on the server? If so, what is the exact path to that file?
   
   What do you want to do with the extracted client codes? Extract other data associated with the code in each worksheet? If so, where do you want to accumulate that data? Or..?

   Well....you've mistaken the official Roman Catholic position on the theory of species evolution.
   
   They have stated ONLY that it is not contrary to Catholic doctrine, and so acceptable for an individual Roman Catholic to believe and teach if they so wish.
   
   They have, in other words, told Roman Catholics, "It's OK to believe that theory if you want to believe it."
   
   They have not endorsed it any more strongly than that. For example: they have not said it is accurate. They have only claimed that it is not contrary to Christian teaching.

   I used to subscribe to SWG. It was really good before they changed the format of the game with their 'combat upgrade'.
   
   You can team up with other people and share loot/XP. If you enjoy playing MMOs, the bonus of EQ 1 & 2 for $25 really makes it a very good deal.
   
   If you do enjoy MMOs, I encourage you to look into City Of Heroes (superhero-theme). Excellent game, and you can group with other heroes. The game developers have provided lots of extra content.
   
   UPDATE: It's been a couple of years since I played, but I think it's as easy as just right clicking on another player and asking them to join you. If they agree, they are added to your squad. All of the names of the people in your squad will show up in the upper left. If you have the Squad Leader mastery, you can have your squad perform special functions and give your squad buffs. Max in a squad used to be 20 people.
