Id get the 360, ive had both slim versions and i can honestly the 360 is better aesthetically and the performance is roughly the same in my opinion.
As seen as you live in israel (awesome :P) and according to your good self you wont be able to get LIVE or PSH the PS3s free (ZOMG!) online play doesnt really matter but if it ever did the 360 is much better online.
Youve got to remember the 360 is a much more social console and has some awesome exclusives like Gears of war and Halo whearas the PS3 has Blu-rays and a music player...that you cant listen to while playing games....joy....so yeah id get the 360 :P
Honestly, I'd just suggest getting a new one ( the new slim, wont get RROD 100% guaranteed). Go to Gamestop, Tell them what happened, and they will hopefully tell u to return any parts ( AV cables, etc), and they should mention getting a Hardware transfer Cable. it transfers everything on your hard drive ( DLC, Xbox Live etc.). Bam good as new.
