    your best bet is get a PCI fan cooler to cool the Graphics card down changing rpm with cause some goofy problems to pop up.since the cpu watches the thermal heat on the cpu and graphics fan and the rpm it could cause it to act up. From my experience it has always been best to add fans where I have heating problems. also when the fan is speed ed up it is not designed too last long at faster speeds they are set to run at a certain RPM and last for a set amount of time so by speeding up the processor fan on the video card it could damage it. it also can cause static electricity if it spins faster than designed,
