    If by wipe out everything on your computer you mean windows also: when you install suse tell it to use the whole hard drive and do it automatically. It will remove EVERYTHING on your hard drive and install suse.
    Here is a how to for the install.
    Also here is a link to some very useful documentation. Be sure to read the docs that apply before you attempt to do it.
    You can play stepmania in suse but the way to install it is a little complicated You need to download the linux binary version for stepmania.
    To install it it read the instructions for tarballs. THere is no guarantee that this will work properly but if suse doesn't have stepmania in its repository it is you only choice.
    Since you say you don't know much about linux it is very important that you read the documentation for suse. Suse is not windows so you will have to learn a new way to do things on the computer.

    Alright these r basic things u should know.

    Download the suse 11.0 torrent from their website.

    Always download using a torrent cause this ensures u never have a corrupt download and u won't need to run a md5sum scan ONLY if u download with a torrent.

    If u don't have a torrent client use Azureus

    After downloading, install infrarecorder to burn the iso image

    burn the cd or dvd using disc image and burn at the lowest speeds, this is VERY important cause a bad burn can cause huge problems later on.
