    all right heres what you need to do .... right click on the utorrent on the bottom right corner of your laptop, make sure the download limit is on unlimited and that the upload is at 20 kbs .... reason why it might be slow is because your uploading might be taking up all of your bandwidth and not leaving enough room for your download speed .... dont set it lower than 20 kbs because your downloading will remain low; trust me ive done that before and it didnt work ....

    seeds are basically people who already have the file already downloaded but havent deleted them from their torrent list and are seeding all the other downloaders ... peers are pretty much all the people that are trying to get the download ....

    yes you can pause and resume another day ... only thing i wouldnt recommend is to stop the torrent completely because then you would have to wait in line once again and that will set you back a lil further ... hope ive helped and enjoy the torrents while they are still alive and remember to seed what you take! thats how torrents stay alive .... deuces and treys!!!

    If that 4mb is the advertised speed of your internet connection, that is in bits (b).
    uTorrent shows speeds in bytes (B).
    8b = 1B so a 4mb could get 500kB/s.

    There are some adjustments you can make to get better speeds. The proper settings depend upon the upload capacity of your internet connection.
