    "YPOPS" it's not approved by yahoo and is not fully compatible some users can get it to work but most can't.

    It is safe and not illegal. I tried it a couple of years ago and had problems. It may have improved. I would still recommend visiting the email website at least once every 4 months to keep it from being closed. I do not know if YPops access counts as a visit.
